In 2007, Cipha Sounds and Peter Rosenberg launched the first hip hop podcast ever. The Juan Epstein Podcast aka Juan EP started off as an experiment and turned into one of the most nerdiest and most coveted podcast in hip hop history!

The cult like success paved the way for other hip hop podcast such as Combat Jack Show, Drink Champs and Questlove Supreme. They’re the only podcast hosts to interview Jay-Z, Eminem, Kanye West and much much more.

In 2019, after a short hiatus, Cipha and Rosenberg relaunched with Mass Appeal as a long-form docuseries, dissecting the life and legacy of Jay-Z.
