Cipha’s 17 year career at Hot97, the legendary hip hop radio station in New York, was groundbreaking for both the radio and hip hop culture. Cipha got his start interning for Funkmaster Flex and quickly moved up the ranks.
Eventually he was given his own show Cipha Saturdays, and went on to host the station’s coveted morning show. During that time, he was also a host on Eminem’s Sirius Satellite station Shade 45, solidifying his name in the hip hop music world.
While on the radio, he’s helped launch the careers of Rihanna, Rick Ross, 50 Cent, and Sean Paul
CLUBS / TOURING
Cipha’s well-known work ethic and unique ability to read any room has allowed him to rock clubs and tours around the world.
His high energy style, mixed with his humorous personality, makes him an obvious choice as a live DJ for many huge artists, clubs and concerts.
He first hit the road as Lil Kim’s DJ on her Hardcore tour and went on to DJ for Mos Def, Jay-Z and Rihanna.
